Hi there! I'm Bryand, an inspector here at Sunline, and my day revolves around making sure our trailers are in good condition. I inspect every trailer that arrives at our terminal, checking the cargo to ensure it’s secure and arrives without any damage. It’s crucial work because even a small mistake can lead to big consequences.

One of the accomplishments I’m most proud of is being awarded Asset of the Month. I’ve also earned bonuses for spotting double broker carriers, which helps protect the company and our partners.

I got into the transportation industry through my grandfather, Joel Aguirre, who’s a driver for Sunline. He always spoke highly of the company, and his recommendation led me here. What I enjoy most about working with carriers is the chance to meet new people from all across the country. It’s great getting to know drivers and making new friends when I see them regularly.

The moment I really understood the impact of my job was when I realized just how critical each inspection is. One mistake can lead to an accident, which is why I take my work so seriously. What sets Sunline apart is how the Sunline family is rewarded for the work we do. It’s motivating to know that our efforts are recognized and appreciated.

One thing people may not know about my job is that inspecting trailers involves more than just a quick glance around. If the inspection isn’t thorough, it could lead to serious issues on the road. Outside of work, I enjoy playing video games, watching anime, and listening to music. A fun fact about me is that I’m colorblind!

If I could give one piece of advice to someone starting out in this industry, it would be: If you’re willing to work hard and stay dedicated, this is a great industry to be in.
