Hi there!

I'm Curtis, one of the Inspectors here at Sunline.

A typical day for me at Sunline starts with checking Macropoint updates for pickups, logging arrivals and departures, and inspecting every Sunline trailer that comes through the yard. I came from a small Arkansas town where we moved oil rigs and repaired equipment. After relocating to Laredo in 2016, I worked night shifts as a mechanic until Jorge Flores called me in for an interview, and the rest is history. What I love most is meeting people from all over the world. I’ve learned Spanish from our Mexican carriers and even tried snacks from overseas drivers! I see the impact of my work when clean inspections roll in and our CSA score drops. Most people don’t realize we inspect more than just trailers; we make sure they’re truly road-ready. Outside of work, I love to fix up old cars and motorcycles. To me, there's nothing better then taking a car or motorcycle that hasn’t ran in years and get it running again. A fun fact about me? My hometown in Arkansas had 286 people.

If I could give one piece of advice to anyone coming into the industry, it's take it, one day at time. What happened yesterday can’t be changed, but what happens tomorrow will depend on you.
